Flute Corrugated Roller Advantages:
- The tungsten carbide corrugating roll is made from 48CrMo alloy steel forgings.
- Undergoing medium frequency quenching, the roll achieves a hardness exceeding HRC60, with a depth of 7mm.
- The roll features an abrasion-resistant tungsten carbide coating, applied using the Praxair JP8000 HVOF system, with a thickness of 50-60 micrometers.
- Compared to chrome-plated corrugating rolls, the tungsten carbide version lasts more than three times longer while costing less than twice as much.
